Buckingham Palace : Royal Family Will Address Meghan's Allegation Of Racism

After days of delay, the British Royal Family on Tuesady said they viewed with concern, the allegation of racism  against the family by Meghan Markle, the duchess of Sussex.

Meghan, Prince Harry's wife, had accused the royal family of being racists, making the sour relationship among members of   the British Royal family to take a dizzying turn for the worse.

Meghan also accused the royal family of lying and driving her to the point of considering suicide as a way out of the stress and strains she was  subjected to since marrying into the family in 2018.

She disclosed this in an explosive televised interview that is viewed by many as brutal assault on the  monarchy up to its foundation.

Meghan, whose mother is Black and father is white, said she had been naive before she married into the family in 2018, but added that she ended up having suicidal thoughts and considering self-harm after pleading for help but got none.

Meghan also  said her son Archie, now aged one, had been denied the title of prince because there were concerns within the royal family about how dark his skin might be.

“They didn’t want him to be a prince,” Meghan said in an interview with Oprah Winfrey aired on CBS late on Sunday.

She said there had been “conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born.”

But replying through Buckingham Palace, it stated that the issue of "race" would be addressed by the family privately.
It added that Harry, Meghan and Archie remained loved members of the family.
