The Governorship candidate of the Allied People's Movement (APM) in Ogun State,
Hon. Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade, on Monday said he doesn't know who his political mentor, Governor Ibikunle Amosun, would cast vote for during the governorship polls in the state.

Akinlade who declined making direct statement on the matter, said it is not really within the capacity of man to tell exactly what lies at the bottom of the other person's heart, stressing that only Governor Amosun himself could categorically say who he would vote for during the 2019 governorship election in Ogun State.

Nearly a dozen of candidates are standing for gubernatorial election slated for March 2019 in Ogun State and they include Prince Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka(African Democratic Congress), Prince Buruji Kashamu of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Akinlade himself among others.

But fielding questions from a reporter whether Amosun, an APC senatorial candidate for Central, would cast his vote for him during the governorship polls at a press briefing by the party to unveil its campaign committee led by former Minister, Alh. Tunji Ishola Sarafa(Director - General) on Monday  morning, Akinlade said he wouldn't know if his boss would vote for him and advised the reporter to direct his question to the Governor when he sees him.

According to the APM candidate, Amosun who is an adult, is in a better position to give a correct answer to the reporter's question.

He however expressed the confidence that he would form the next government of Ogun State in 2019 to continue the rebuilding mission of Amosun.

In attendance at the unveiling of the Campaign committee at the new Secretariat on Abiola Way,
are governor Ibikunle Amosun's elder brother, Alh. Abideoye Amosun, Commissioner for Education, Modupe Mujota, Amosun's aide, Bola Adeyemi, Soji Ogunjobi, Hon.Yinka Mafe, Commissioner for Information, Dayo Adeneye,  and a host of other party chieftains.

The emergence of APM in the firmament of Ogun politics at the eleventh hour was a response by the loyalists of Governor Amosun who alleged being cheated and shut out by the All Progressives Congress (APC), after they had participated in the party primaries, won but denied tickets, including Amosun's anointed and consensus governorship candidate, Hon.Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade.

In his opening prayer, Abideoye Amosun expressed the confidence that all APM candidates for the 2019 general elections would emerge victorious, praying the party would also blossom beyond the Gateway state to become a national party.
