Governor Ibikunle Amosun's elder brother, Alh. Abideoye Amosun, Commissioner for Education, Modupe Mujota, Amosun's aide, Bola Adeyemi, Soji Ogunjobi, Hon.Yinka Mafe, Commissioner for Information, Dayo Adeneye, and a host of other party chieftains are already on ground at the new Secretariat on Abiola Way for the inauguration.
The emergence of APM in the firmament of Ogun politics at the eleventh hour was a response by the loyalists of Governor Amosun who alleged being cheated and shut out by the All Progressives Congress (APC), after they had participated in the party primaries, won but denied tickets, including Amosun's anointed and consensus governorship candidate, Hon.Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade.
In his opening prayer, Abideoye Amosun expressed the confidence that all APM candidates for the 2019 general elections would emerge victorious, praying also that the party would blossom beyond the Gateway state to become a national party.
