Abiodun, an entrepreneur, real estate player from Iperu, Ogun East Senatorial District of the Gateway State and front line governorship candidate in the state was led to Aso Rock, Abuja to meet with the President by the leader of APC in Southwest, Akirogun Segun Osoba.
The duo of Buhari and Osoba later raised Abiodun's hands sky - high, attesting to not only acceptance and authenticity of his candidature, but also symbolically telling Ogun electorate loudly that 'this is our beloved candidate in whom we're well pleased. Vote him in.'
The Daily Crucible gathered that this was a prelude to the formal launch of APC campaign for 2019 general elections and subsequent electioneering activities in Ogun where the party and all its candidates for the elections expected to take the state by storm.
