Special Senate of Federal University of Agriculture, FUNAAB, Abeokuta has perfected arrangements to seat Friday, December 2 to consider students first
semester examination results as the university resumes for activities after 8 - month old lecturers strike.
Also, students will commence Second Semester Lectures on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, following their resumption on Thursday this week.
According to a Release signed on behalf of the Registrar, Dr. ‘Bola Adekola by the Deputy Registrar, Senate and Admissions (SENAD), Mr. Omowon Agbotoba the University Senate at it Meeting approved a revised Second Semester 2020/2021 Academic Calendar.
According to the Release made available to the media by Mr.Kola Adepoju,the Head,Directorate of Public Relations, the Academic activities are as follows:
Students return to Campus - Thursday, October 27, 2022
Second Semester Lectures Begins - Wednesday, November 2, 2022
71st Inaugural Lecture - Wednesday, November 23, 2022
Special Senate To Consider First
Semester Examination Result - Friday, December 2, 2022
72nd Inaugural Lecture - Wednesday, December 21, 2022
Second Semester Lecture End - Friday, January 13, 2023
Second Semester Examinations Begin - Monday, January 23, 2023
Second Semester Examinations End - Friday, February 3, 2023
73rd Inaugural Lecture - Wednesday, February 8, 2023

Meanwhile, Times Higher Education 2023 has rated Federal University of Agriculture,Abeokuta (FUNAAB) high in subject rankings.
FUNAAB in the latest ranking of Times Higher Education is listed among the world best in Life Sciences.
According to the details of the results released,FUNAAB is listed in the category of 801-1000 universities with impressive performance in Life and Physical Sciences in Times Higher Education 2023 Subject Rankings.
Prior to the latest feat, FUNAAB had also in the last two months rated first in Veterinary Medicine in Nigeria and listed in top ten (10) Universities in the country in the World Ranking of Universities in Nigeria.
The success came at the tail end of Prof.Felix Kolawole Salako's Administration.
