Fierce Looking Dogs, Others Keep Vigil as APC Flag Bearer, Abiodun, Visits Kobiti In Abeokuta

Fierce looking dogs  have been stationed at the seedy Kobiti area of Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Friday evening as the residents await the All Progressives Congress (APC), governorship candidate, Prince Adedapo Abiodun, whose campaign posters already adorned the area. 

The canines - three Alsatians, a Caucasian and Rottweiler, which  barked menacingly, were hurried to the neighborhood by the Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), to complement over a dozen of armed security men on ground to provide adequate security to the front line governorship candidate in the state.

Abiodun who arrived the place by 5.01pm to the waiting cheery and enthusiastic residents, is expected to also meet the body of Imams in Egbaland who have also assembled their colleagues from Ogun East and Ogun West to join them in welcoming the APC flag bearer at the Egba Central mosque Kobiti.

In the entourage of the Oil magnate and real estate player are APC chieftains and supporters, including Hon. Abiodun Akinlade, Governor Ibikunle Amosun's aide and former Commissioner of Sports, Mr. Afolabi Afuape. 

As at the time of filling the report,  Abiodun is still meeting with the body of Imams and he would use the occasion to  plead for support for himself and his Deputy from the religious leaders as well as solicit support for President Muhammed Buhari for his second term ambition tagged Next level for Nigeria

He would also unfold some of the policies  - such as raising the IGR of the state, rural development , good governance, women empowerment, educational development, improved health sector, facilitate the availability of constant power supply and infrastructural development among others, which his administration would implement when sworn - in.
