Again, foremost Real Estate practitioner in Ogun State and CEO of Pelican Valley Nigeria Ltd, Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo, has been named, the most influential realtor.
The most influential realtor award of the year was bestowed on Adeyemo by Synergy Network at its 2022 edition of Synergy Meritorious Award in Abeokuta, the state capital.
This is the 5th time Adeyemo is garnering laurels and more accolades this October alone following his novel and trailblazing approach to real estate practice in the Gateway State.
And coming at a time his amiable wife clocks 40, the Pelican Valley CEO elected to dedicate the Award to her for creating and sustaining a healthy marital ambience at home, which he revealed, enabled him to stay focused with a mind of success in the challenging real estate business.
The Synergy Network while presenting the award to him said the giant strides, physical development, and the architectural masterpiece of the company coupled with its affordability and credibility have attracted the organisation to bestow the honour in recognition and appreciation of the transformational impact on the real estate experience and socio-economic growth of Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
The Pelican Valley CEO while speaking with newsmen appreciated the organiser for recognising Pelican Valley Nigeria Ltd and his modest self as the most influential realtor.
He recalled that he started the real estate business with meagre capital less than N2.5million naira about 15 years ago but said the firm's estate boasts of property valued at over N1billion naira as of today while the estate is also reputed as the only one having full government approval for its layout.
According to him, a plot of land at Pelican Valley Estate which sold for N700k eight years ago now goes for N20million today while a plot of land at Pelican Brief Estate which was sold for N780k less than two years ago, is now going for N3.5million naira.
Adeyemo said the steady value appreciation for landed property at Pelican Valley Estate is the result of innovation and ingenuity the firm keeps bringing quietly into the real estate business.
Elated about the Award, he described it as highly symbolic having coincided with his wife's 40th birthday.
He said, ''I am highly elated that this award is being given to me by Synergy. This award will spur me to continue in my humble service of making incredible houses at affordable rates to Nigerians and Africans at large.
"We have been doing things quietly and this award is the 5th this October and it is highly symbolic because it is happening on the 40th birthday of my wife.
"She is a lovely wife and I'm dedicating this award to her. I can see she is over excited. She is my pillar of support. I want young ladies to learn from her vigour, dedication and perseverance. We met when I was nobody, I was just a Corps member at the time and she accepted me effortlessly and faithfully.
"We dated for 7 years and during that seven years, there was no cause or reason to be suspicious for one day. No strange calls. I'm dedicating this award to you for being my pillar and for not distracting me all this while. I appreciate you very much."
