    Flashback: Lady Collapses In Court After Judge Slams Her With Death Sentence

    A 36-year-old lady, Stella Gilbert, has collapsed and momentarily passed out after a state high Court sitting at Ikeja, Lagos, sentenced her to death for stabbing neighbour; one Mrs Godwin, to death.

     Stella Gilbert was said to have stabbed Mrs Godwin to death during a fight at their residence in Ajegunle, Lagos.

    She collapsed on hearing the judge convict her and read her sentence, amid tears from siblings and friends

    Operatives of Prison Armed Squad swiftly carried her as she collapsed in the Court room back into the prison waiting truck for final custody of Nigeria Correctional Service pending execution time.
