    Former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, on Thursday, met with the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi; and the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, in London.

    Although details of the meeting were still shrouded in secrecy but The Daily Crucible learnt that it was part of efforts towards seeking realignments negotiations ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

    Earlier, it was reported that Wike had met with the Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in France and that former Vice - President Atiku Abubakar was also planning to meet with the Rivers State governor.

    Wike attended the London meeting with Obasanjo in company of his allies including Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State; Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State; Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and former Cross River State Governor, Donald Duke, among others.
