Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has raided a property within Victoria Garden City (VGC), Lagos and discovered a laboratory for production of METH aka Mkpuru Miri in local parlance.
The agency's operatives also one Emeka Nzewi suspected to be the operator of the laboratory.
His accomplice was also arrested.
An internal memo released by the estate management, it states that NDLEA officials have been on the trail of the occupant of the property, Mr Emeka Nzewi, since 2017.
It noted that on Saturday, July 30, the anti-drug agency carried out a sting operation and was able to arrest the occupant and his wife.
NDLEA says the bore holes and water supply located 500 meters from the raided building have been contaminated by the waste generated from the Laboratory.
