Armed men suspected to be non - state actors have invaded Otuokpoti community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, subjecting the villagers to fear and apprehension with sporadic gun shots.
The gunmen were said to have also stormed the home of Bayelsa State Commissioner for Trade and Commence, Mr Otokito Federal Oparmiola, within the Otuokpoti community about 11.00p.m. on Thursday.
Mr Otokito, it was learnt, was abducted afterwards by the armed men and taken to a yet - to - be ascertained location but the police spokesman in Bayelsa State, SP Asinim Butswat has not confirmed or deny the said attack on Otuokpoti community and the abduction of Otokito in the process by the invaders.
