Ukala Okpunor, a neighbouring community of Onicha-Olona, in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State was thrown into a joyful mood when Mrs. Evelyn Joshua, wife of the late Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, the televangelist, philanthropist and leader, and founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations, visited the community with a trailer load of rice, she distributed to the natives.

Edwin Ofuase, an Ukala indigene who described the wife of the late Prophet as God sent to humanity at the right time and season, prayed God to extend his blessings to her for the milk of kindness shown her Ukala people.

Evelyn the daughter of Akabude from Umuakale, Ukala, and her late husband, T. B. Joshua has a history of extending charity to Ukala home. A few months before his demise, the Prophet brought about 1,200 bags of rice that he gave to the community.

He was also said to have donated N5m to the community that aided the electrification of the community. The money was brought by the wife to the palace where the Obi and other chiefs gathered to receive it.

Ukala was founded by Onyimeosi Ukala who journeyed from Benin and first settled in Uka-Ugwuabe (Igueben) according to Nezianya 1 who published the community's historical information on his web page.

Evelyn Joshua grew up in Ezi, another Anioma community but she and the late T. B. Joshua found love in Lagos, from where they visited Ukala to celebrate their traditional marriage about 30 years ago.

Prophet T. B. Joshua died on June 5, 2021.
