IYMI : Two Nigerians To Die In Ghana For Abducting, Killing Four Girls - Court

A court in Ghana has sentenced two Nigerians to death in the country after they were found guilty of kidnay and murder.

The two Nigerians, john Oji and Samuel Udoetuk Wills, were accused of kidnapping, and, eventual killing of four girls in Takoradi, Ghana.

They were sentenced to death on Friday afternoon, March 5, 2021.

The court found them guilty of killing of the four girls identified as Ruth Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum, Priscilla Koranchie and Ruth Abekah in Takoradi, Ghana.

The remains of the girls were discovered in their apartment in 2019, after months of national search for them by their families and Ghanaian authority.

The two Nigerians have been in detention since then.

According to reports from Ghanaweb , a Ghanaian online news agency, the two Nigerians were found guilty by the seven-member jury at the Sekondi High Court on Friday, March 5.
