Veteran journalist and publisher, Dr. Kunle Solana has declared that the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is a detribalised Nigerian and at liberty to take his 69th birthday anniversary to Kano, Owerri, Otuoke in Bayelsa State or any other village in Nigeria.
Solana who is the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Admirers' Movement (BATAM) World-Wide), advised individuals and groups not to worry or unnecessarily invite insomnia into their lives because Tinubu had planned to hold one of the activities marking his 69th birthday celebration in Kano, reminding all that the politician had observed similar birthday anniversary earlier in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
He made this known to The Daily Crucible in a release on Wednesday.
Describing those aversed to the planned Kano event as "detractors," BATAM leader accused them of also being part of devilish but futile gang-ups against Tinubu simply because well-meaning Nigerians all over Nigeria were clamouring for and pleading with him to join the presidential race for 2023.
According to him, Nigerians "believe that he(Tinubu) is the proper and best man to take over from President Mohammadu Buhari."
Solana noted that the political detractors of Nigeria seem to be unaware that the people's Jagaban is a nationalist to the core and will not be part the alleged undemocratic plots against Nigeria, saying "Tinubu won't join these bad people to destroy Nigeria. And he will not allow them to set Nigeria ablaze."
He said: "These detractors wonder why the Asiwaju of Lagos and Jagaban of Borgu is not limiting his birthday anniversary celebration to Lagos or the South-West. He has done it in Abuja and Lagos. Why not Kano? I won't be surprised if he takes his 70th birthday anniversary to Maiduguri, Adamawa, Calabar, Uyo, Owerri, Bayelsa or Benin City. That is a detribalised Nigerian for you.
"They are not happy that Tinubu is not joining them in their desperate plots to destabilise, make Nigeria ungovernable and tear her into pieces. They are angry with Tinubu because he is preaching peace, love, progress, development and national unity. No, count Tinubu out of your demonic plots against Nigeria. Tinubu won't join these bad people to destroy Nigeria. And he will not allow them to set Nigeria ablaze.
"These enemies of progress, development and Nigeria's unity forgot that Tinubu is the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). These political detractors of Nigeria seem to be unaware that the people's Jagaban is a nationalist to the core. The former Lagos State governor is a man of the people and highly detribalised Nigerian. He loves all tribes, ethnic groups and adherents of every religion in Nigeria. He does not discriminate against anyone. He loves every well-meaning Nigerian equally.
"He is at home in all parts of Nigeria.Therefore, he is at liberty to hold his birthday in any city, town, village or hamlet in Nigeria."
