Chief Nursing Officer at the National Hospital, Abuja, Faith Eragbai, received her vaccination against the dreadful Coronavirus (COVID-19 on Saturday, saying it is the best way to safeguard the frontline workers in particular and Nigerians in general from the virus.
Faith Eragbai is the first female to receive the COVID -19 vaccine in Nigeria, according to UNICEF, Nigeria.
Also President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), received theirs at the Old Banquet Hall of the State House in Abuja.
The President receives injection of the vaccine administered by his Chief Personal Physician, Dr Shuaib Rafindadi Sanusi, while the Vice President had his injected by Dr Nicholas Odifre, Personal Physician to him.
In attendance at the brief ceremony to witness Buhari and Osinbajo take Jabs are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Mr Boss Mustapha; Minister of Health Dr Osagie Ehanire; Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed; and the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari.
