An upscale real estate company , Pelican Valley Nigeria Ltd, has signed a N36.5 million electrification contract with Lucky David Nigeria Ltd, a Nigerian based electrical engineering company.

The contract seeks to provide and instal three transformers in its three housing estates in Ogun State as well as connect them to the national grid.

It is predicated on the need to make life worthwhile for the residents of the estates through steady power supply to sustain their socioeconomic lifestyles.

The President/CEO of Pelican Valley Estate, Babatunde Adeyemo, expressed delight at what he described as a long dream realised.

Adeyemo who spoke shortly  after signing the contract at his  head office on Nawar-Ud-Deen Street, Oke Yeke Area of the Ogun state capital, said it would concluded within the next two months.

He expressed the confidence that it will not only add value to the different estates, but also further increase the returns on investments of customers, which had already appreciated by almost 100% within six months.

The CEO  also identified the selling points of further Pelicanvalley, saying it  is less than five minutes drive from the Abeokuta train station while the  new Pelican-Brief Estate is less than sixteen minutes drive from the same train station.

The Train is programmed to run 160 kilometer per hour, while Ebutemeta, Agege, Apapa, Ijora to Abeokuta through the rail is less than 75/85 / 90 kilometers  respectively.

The Daily Crucible recalls that the Pelicanvalley was 500k per plot in 2014 but today, a plot of land in the estate goes for N8m.

Also, Pelicanbrief was N785k per plot when it was launched five months ago but today, it's N1m.

So, for people with  mind set for the future, the time to invest in any of the three estates is now, Adeyemo urges prospective customers.

He hinted that all prospective and potential customers to quickly key into the investments as price upgrade of the properties is eminent and will be effective in two weeks time.

Also speaking in respect  of the electricity project contract,  Chairman of Lucky David Nigeria Ltd,  Festus Chinnedu Nwanchor, whose company is handling it,  described Pelican Valley Estate as a reliable real estate operator that continues to add value to customers' investments.

Nwanchor expressed delight at successes so far recorded by Pelican within the few years of its existence.

‘’With what I have seen at their estates and customers’ patronage, this is a company that really means business. I believe in the future and enterprising nature of Pelican as a company, hence we did not hesitate to go into the electrification project contract.

‘’A company like this should be encouraged, as it assists the government both at the federal and state level to meet the housing needs of Nigerians and others.

‘’On the completion of the electrification projects, the estates will be connected to the national grid immediately, thereby meeting the needs of existing and prospective landlords within the three estates," he said.

The estates corporate ambassador and a popular nollywood actor, Mr. James Olasehinde, popularly known as pa. James who was around during contract signing ceremony described it as another forward leap.

He failed the real Estate company as one of the most reliable he had ever came across in the recent time.

Meanwhile, Adeyemo has assured that Pelican Valley Estate as a company, would continue to be socially responsible even as he hinted of the company's desire to provide solar energy lights for its host communities as well as mount CCTV cameras along the estate as well as within the estate to improve upon the security of lives and investments.
