Buhari, Others Mourn As Leadership Newspapers' Publisher Dies

The publisher of Leadership Newspaper, Sam  Nda - Isaiah is dead. 

Nda - Isaiah died yesterday after a brief illness at the age of 58 but no official statement has been issued yet by the family regarding his death.

Until his demise, he was a newspaper columnist, trained Pharmacist and former presidential aspirant with the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2015.

 He worked briefly as a pharmacist at the Kano Specialist Hospital before joining General Hospital, Minna.

He also began his columnist work with The Daily Trust Editorial Board as a board member, worked as a committee member in the Kano State Government to revive the  Kano state -owned newspaper, The Triumph and in 2003, chaired Mohammadu Buhari’s presidential campaign publicities.

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed shock and sadness at the death of Sam Nda-Isaiah, a man he describes as “a friend and ally.”

The President condoles with the media fraternity, the Nda-Isaiah family, friends and associates of the deceased, saying “the country has lost a man of conviction, a resolute and dogged believer in a better Nigeria.”

“He will be sorely missed. This is a massive fish gone out of the media ocean,” President Buhari further says of the pharmacist, renowned columnist, and one time presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), according to Femi Adesina,
