Tears flowed uncontrollably from residents of Ibadan, Oyo State capital, on Sunday as Senator Abiola Ajimobi is laid to rest.
Ajimobi who died on Friday at the age of 70 in a Lagos Hospital due to complications arising from COVID-19, was buried interred at his Oluyole residence amid cloudy sky above and tearful faces bowed to the ground from hundred of associates, friends and supporters who were waiting the body outside the Senator Ishiaq Abiola Ajimobi Central Mosque, Oke Ado.
The burial was only attended by only his wife, children as well as very close associates around 10am, ostensibly to control the massive crowd already awaiting the remains of the former Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, South.
