    Tafida, Emir of Rano, Dies At 74

    The Emir of Rano, one of the newly created Emirates in Kano State, Alhaji Tafida Abubakar Ila Auta Bawo is dead.

    Tafida died on Saturday at a hospital in Kano at the age of 74 and  shortly after he was rushed to the place for treatment. 

    It is not yet certain what caused his death, whether it has anything to do with the mystery deaths buffeting Kano. 

    He will be buried this evening according to the Islamic rite.
