    Mexican; Ruiz, Defeats Anthony Joshua In Round 7, Emerges World Heavyweight Boxing Champion

    Mexican boxer, Andy Ruiz Jr. has  defeated Nigerian born British citizen and title-holder,  Anthony Joshua in a heavy weight boxing duel in New York on Saturday.



    Ruiz floored Joshua four times before knocking him out in the seventh round of the contest to emerge the first Mexican-American heavyweight world champion.

    Joshua is down momentarily but will rise again given average Nigerian's resilient spirit. Until the latest encounter, he was previously undefeated, robustly defending his IBF, WBA and WBO titles.

     Just some hours ago on Saturday, unknown Ruiz was awarded a technical knockout against Joshua to take the crown - World Heavyweight Champion -  IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO world titles.
