Enthusiastic crowd
His Excellency, Prince Adedapo Oluwasegun Abiodun, accompanied by his wife; Bamidele, arrived the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, by 11:12am for the historical inauguration.
His Deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako - Oyedele arrived some minutes earlier, took her Oath of Office by 11: 40am as administered by the Chief Justice of Ogun State, Mosunmola Dipeolu while Abiodun took his, 12 minutes later by 11:53am amid applause from the cheering crowd.
Within and outside the stadium, it was all locked down by enthusiatic crowd adorning yellow colour attires or fez caps, surging back and forth to witness the ceremony.
Former Governor Aremo Segun Osoba, former World Court Judge, Prince Bola Ajibola among other dignitaries were on ground to add glamour to the occasion.
Ironically, the inauguration took place with Abiodun, his supporters, members of the All Progressives Congress(APC), friends, associates and Ogun citizens feeling safe at the same MKO Stadium which only last February 11, they were stoned, beaten and hounded out by hirelings suspected to be loyalists of the out - gone Governor Ibikunle Amosun and the Allied People's Movement(APM).
