Don't worry over what my said about me, she meant no harm, Femi tells followers, others

Femi Afolabi - Brown, who has been in the news since  over what his wife and influencer TV presenter, Mrs Morayo Afolabi - Brown, said, has advised his friends and followers on social media not to worry about it, saying the wife trusted him and meant no harm in her comments.

Mrs Morayo Afolabi - Brown, who is a popular TV Presenter, had stated that she would not allow her hubby bath their daughters, a comment that drew scathing reactions from not a few spinners and "negative souls" against Femi.

She has since  apologised tearfully to her husband, vowing to put herself in check henceforth.

But using his official Instagram handle - @brown_katibi, Femi defended the wife in a manner that demonstrated the bond of unity, love and trust between them, stating that as a matter of principle, he would not bath his daughters if their mother is at home.

He stated: "You need not fret about what my wife said. My wife never in any way suggested I was a child molester. She stated her trust in her husband, then said she wouldn't allow her husband bath her daughters.

"Then the most negative of souls twisted her statements and ran with it. But if you notice, the enlightened ones among the commenters understood her message and agreed with her.

'Well, here is my take. I tell my daughters never to let any man put them on his laps, or touch them in certain places, or hold them in certain ways, or even see their nakedness.

"I personally extended those rules to myself to reinforce the teaching. That is the modus operandi I have chosen in raising my own daughters. My wife merely spoke as if she made those rules. Her mistake.

" In a nutshell, as long as my wife or a female person is available, I shall never bath any of my  daughters. Why should I, for God's sake ? Others can be doing that in their own houses, but not in my house," he said.

While his wife has apologised to him over the statement on live television due to the backlash it generated, Mr Afolabi-Brown on his Instagram handle, , and Facebook page, told his followers not to worry about what his wife said.
