APC, UK chapter, backs Abiodun, pledges full support during campaign

The United Kingdom chapter of the All Progressives Congress(APC) has thrown its weight solidly behind the gubernatorial candidate of the party in Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, pledging to give him "full support during the campaign and the days ahead."

APC UK chapter who made this known to The Daily Crucible, said they are in accord with the decision of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party which affirmed Abiodun's candidature in the state.

According to them, the "party supremacy stands" on the choice of Dapo Abiodun

The stand of the APC UK chapter followed a meeting of the members in London at the weekend.

In attendance at gathering where the decision to back Abiodun's political race to Oke - Mosan Governor's Office in 2019, are the APC National Secretary UK, Mr Francis Akpan; Hon. Prince Dele Tinuosho, Hon. Sunday O. Oyesanya, APC Ogun State Chapter UK Secretary, Mr Andrew Taiwo, the APC Chairman, Ogun State Chapter UK- Mr Dapo Oduwole among others. 

"We had a meeting in London at the weekend with the executive of APC UK Ogun state chapter and we are fully in support of His excellency Dapo Abiodun candidacy  and promised our full support during the campaign and the days ahead.

"With one voice we say party supremacy stands," they stated.
